we got more than we expected! The room was perfect, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was amazing, right on the beach, and the staff treated us like VIPs.

The breakfast selection could have been better, maybe with more variety or some local specialties.

Spacious and clean with amazing views. Thoughtful hosts provided fully equipped amenities and welcome treats. A true gem in a beautiful location. Will definitely return!

Pros': The value for money at Beach Bothies was fantastic. The room was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and lovely faerie lights. The location right next to the beach was perfect, and the staff, especially Julie, were cute and friendly.

The views were breathtaking, like Scotland's own Maldives. the pods were immaculate and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We received a lovely welcome basket with fresh flowers, bread, tea, and coffee.

The showers were only warm, not hot, which was a slight inconvenience. the armchairs were not very comfortable, and the shower was a bit low for taller guests our experience at this hotel was fantastic.

The Beach Bothies in Valtos is a budget-friendly paradise on earth. the spacious pods are beautifully styled with comfortable beds, rocking chairs, and a well-designed kitchen area. the view from the terrace is mesmerizing, overlooking a quiet beach and islands. the hosts, Dave and Julie, go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great stay, with thoughtful touches like complimentary scallops and a hand-drawn map. the use of sea kayaks and life jackets adds to the perfect holiday experience.

The Bothies were beautiful and well equipped, with stunning views of the beach and turquoise waters. the accommodation was exceptional, with stylish Harris tweed furnishings, a comfortable bed, and a practical kitchen. the hosts, Dave and Julie, were the best we could have imagined, providing treats like freshly caught scallops and Stornoway black pudding. They went above and beyond to help us, even assisting with our van troubles. the use of sea kayaks and life jackets was a fantastic bonus, allowing us to explore the bay and encounter a friendly seal. We can't wait to go back next year.

The bothies are well-equipped with a comfy bed, kitchen, good wifi, and a large deck with beautiful views. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable about the area, offering the use of kayaks and bikes. The location is stunning, with a quiet beach right outside. A true paradise on earth.

It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing Christmas getaway. the accommodation was beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard, making it cozy and inviting. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, providing us with some lovely treats and essentials. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Plus, the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare our festive meals.

The shower was a bit disappointing as the water wasn't warm enough. It would have been nice to have a longer hot shower after exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Stayed 2 nights, best dog-friendly pod in Scotland. Spacious, comfy bed, well-stocked. The scallops were delicious. Stunning location, better than photos. Didn't want to leave.

The location of this place is absolutely stunning, with white sandy beaches and clear turquoise water. The cabin itself is bigger than it appears and has all the necessary amenities. The bed is large and very comfortable, perfect after a long day of work. The bathroom, although small, is convenient. The host is hospitable and kind. The nearby Seafood Cafe offers delicious scallops, a must-try dish. I had a great experience and would love to come back in the future.

During colder and windy days, the bathroom can get quite cold as the ventilator sucks in the cold air from the outside. It would be better if there was a way to minimize the cold air intake.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The pods were spacious and had a stunning view of the beach and the small island. The owners did a fantastic job equipping the pods with everything you could ask for, including binoculars and a BBQ. The location and setting were outstanding, with beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of lovely walks to explore. The welcome pack of fresh scallops and Stornaway black pudding was a delicious treat. Can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Honestly, there was nothing I disliked about my stay here. It was perfect in every way.
